The first name in precision machined products, Firstar provides complete multi-axis CNC mill-turning services utilizing 4-axis and 5-axis CNC workstations with a 3.0” bar capacity, capable of accuracy and repeatability down to 0.0001” tolerances.
In addition to our multi-axis CNC machining solutions, we specialize in high-speed, high-capacity, two-axis CNC turning services capable of achieving 0.00001” (ten millionths) tolerances.
Firstar also provides highly flexible horizontal and vertical CNC milling services capable of producing a wide range of precision-machined components.
We provide state-of-the-art wire EDM services with close-tolerance accuracy and repeatability of +/- .00001. Our wire EDM services are suitable for a wide range of specialized machining applications in which our conventional CNC milling and turning solutions are incompatible.
Our facility also offers laser marking, engraving, and etching services commonly used to add traceability features to machined products, like part numbers, barcodes, and serial numbers.
The first name in precision-formed and machined components, Firstar offers CNC gear shaping and gear hobbing services.
Our full-service machining department includes OD grinding capabilities for components up to 12” diameter with a maximum workpiece weight of 176 lbs.
Our custom machining services are rounded out with horizontal honing, offering a maximum stroke length of 6.7” or power stroking at 4.0” lengths.
